Cusco City Tour Afternoon

We visited Machu Picchu from Cusco, taking the Peru Rail Vistadome Observatory Train. The views during the train ride were stunning and the onboard entertainment made the long journey go by in a flash.
Our guide, Edith, met us from the train station. Edith was very friendly and super knowledgeable; we came away with a great understanding of the history of Machu Picchu.

We booked to do two circuits (1 & 3) and the communication around timings and logistics put our minds at ease, and worked out fantastically.

The best tour, the food in the valley is one of the best. We went on a group tour with other people, but we were dropped off at a top restaurant Don Gabriel. The train was spectacular and Machu Picchu was a dream come true. Thanks to Jose for the tour.

We had an amazing time! The guides were patient and kind and offered us every accommodation. We stayed at Tierra Viva – comfortable rooms, friendly staff and decent breakfast. It was a very short distance from the train. Lunch at full house was super as was the buffet at Don Angels the day prior. Our shopping and archeological site visits were well spaced and when necessary to pivot due to timing, they were very kind.
